About the Facilitator: 

Mitchie Ramirez is a Dominican-American actress/writer born and raised in NYC. She studied at several acting studios, and has been trained by industry greats such as Monique McDonald, Maggie Phillips, and Brooke Bundy.

Mitchie began her professional artistic journey when she was featured on Tower Heist directed by Brett Ratner. Since then, she has participated in a number of projects including a Grammy's Uber commercial on CBS and a music video for New Politics directed by Jay Rodriguez. Mitchie has been nominated for 'Best Actress in a Webisode' for her lead role in the hilarious, new web series DominicanYork; which has won numerous film festival awards and nominations. Interestingly enough, DominicanYork is also Mitchie's writer and directorial debut.

Unlike many of her contemporaries, Mitchie Ramirez is primarily a self-taught writer and has her own approach to - and definition of - art. She believes in constantly taking risks, and that inspiration can be found wherever you look. She is a passionate and engaging writer/actor who will bring depth, and charisma to any project she is
