For the Love of Daddy: Writing the Man, the Myth, the Memory

For the Love of Daddy is a special Father’s Day writing workshop where we’ll reflect on the fathers we knew—and the ones we’re still learning to understand. Whether your dad was tender, tough, present, absent, hilarious, mysterious, or all of the above, this is your space to write him into memory.

Through guided prompts, we’ll explore the textures of fatherhood: laughter, legacy, smells, hands, lessons, and love. You’ll be invited to craft short reflections, stories, or poems that celebrate, question, and honor your father—or a father figure who shaped you.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need a story. Come write with us.
