Amor Sin Fronteras: Latinx Love Stories That Break the Mold
Presented by Dominican Writers Association
Dominican and Latinx romance authors are reclaiming space in a genre that has too often overlooked their stories. This virtual panel, hosted by the Dominican Writers Association, brings together a powerhouse lineup of writers—Adriana Herrera, Lydia San Andres, Ambar Córdova, and Natalie Caña—to explore how love, culture, and identity intersect in their work.
From sensual narratives grounded in cultural nuance to stories of healing, resistance, and joy, these authors are redefining what romance looks like for our communities. This conversation will explore genre expectations, the politics of pleasure, and the power of centering marginalized voices in love stories.
Attendees will enjoy readings, author dialogue, and a Q&A session that celebrates the vibrancy and complexity of Latinx romance fiction.
THIS IS AN OFFICIAL 2025 BROOKLYN BOOK FESTIVAL BOOKEND EVENT
