Mangú Aquí is a romantic comedy/drama about the life of Roberto, a Dominican man who is 30 years old and has lived in NYC since he was a child. He is a mama’s boy, and awkward at dating. He has a great life and a hopeful future. He started his own business buying and flipping homes, and is taking a big risk to keep the last house he is fixing.

Despite a disastrous first date, he meets and falls in love with a woman named Katrina. She’s athletic, independent and empowered. A deep romance develops and all is perfect, until he introduces her to his mother, a traditional Dominican woman. All his mom sees is…
