NYPL-The Art of Self Publishing

You wrote the book. Now, how do you actually publish it?

Do you need an editor? Should you use Amazon KDP or IngramSpark? Do you need your own ISBN? How much should you budget? How do you get your book into bookstores and libraries? And once it’s published, how do you actually reach readers?

The Art of Self-Publishing is a FREE, 8-week virtual workshop series presented in partnership with the New York Public Library and facilitated by Angela “Angy” Abreu, founder and Executive Director of the Dominican Writers Association.

Whether you have a finished manuscript, a work in progress, or an idea you’re ready to take seriously, we’ll walk through the publishing process together and help you build a practical plan for your book.
