Revealing Your Story Piece by Piece: Exposition in Your Script

In this screenwriting session, we will talk about approaches to writing exposition, a necessary tool of visual storytelling, that can help you to avoid writing exposition that is too "obvious." Students will watch and read examples from films and shows in English and Spanish and discuss as well as write their own scenes using techniques.

About the Facilitator: 

Paloma Valenzuela is a Dominican-American, screenwriter, playwright and filmmaker originally from the city of Boston. She is the creative director of the production company La Palomita Productions.
