A Workshop for Imagination, Freedom, and Surprise

Sometimes we forget that writing can be fun. We get caught in rules—grammar, structure, perfection—and forget that creativity begins with curiosity. This workshop is an invitation to play.

In this 90-minute generative session, we’ll loosen our grip on “getting it right” and write with intuition instead of control. Through guided prompts, we’ll experiment with sound, image, and imagination, stepping away from logic and into freedom.

You’ll explore unexpected entry points into storytelling—word storms, letters to the impossible, poems that break their own rules—and leave with new language, fresh ideas, and maybe even a story you didn’t know was waiting inside you.
