Dreams are filled with strange images, hidden emotions, unexpected logic, and powerful symbols. In this workshop, writers will use dreams as a source of inspiration for stories, characters, scenes, and emotional depth.
Through guided exercises, participants will learn how to transform dream material into vivid, original writing. Writers will explore how dream images become scenes, how dream figures become characters, and how the logic of dreams can unlock creative possibilities that waking life keeps hidden.
By the end of the session, fragments and memories become the raw material for compelling, imaginative work.
Facilitator: Eli Villamán is a multidisciplinary writer and educator whose work blends literature, visual arts, and storytelling. Trained in narrative and creativity studies, she is a novelist, screenwriter, actress, director, and creative writing teacher.
