Every character has something they hide. Every writer does too. In this workshop, writers will explore the creative power of secrets, silence, and the things left unsaid.

Through guided exercises, participants will uncover hidden motivations, buried memories, and private truths that can fuel stories with tension and emotional depth. Writers will learn how secrecy creates conflict, shapes relationships, and drives narrative momentum.

By the end of the session, what was once hidden will become rich material for unforgettable characters and stories.

Facilitator: Eli Villamán is a multidisciplinary writer and educator whose work blends literature, visual arts, and storytelling. Trained in narrative and creativity studies, she is a novelist, screenwriter, actress, director, and creative writing teacher.
