Writing from Photographs

Photographs capture a moment in time, but they also invite us to imagine the stories that exist beyond the frame.

In this workshop, writers will use photographs as creative prompts to explore character, memory, and narrative. By closely observing images, participants will imagine what happened before, during, or after the moment captured in the photo.

Through guided exercises, participants will:

• Use photographs as inspiration for storytelling

• Imagine the hidden stories behind an image
