Transforming Roots into Stories — Part II
Tuesdays, October 21 – December 2, 2025 · 7:00 PM EST · via Zoom
The Dominican Writers Association invites you to join us for Transforming Roots into Stories — Part II, a 6-week workshop series where genealogy meets creative expression. Building on our first genealogy workshop, this series goes deeper: moving from records and memory into narrative, poetry, and multimedia storytelling.
Guided by an incredible lineup of Dominican writers and cultural workers, participants will learn how to turn family research into living stories that honor our ancestors and preserve collective memory for future generations. Each session blends lecture, discussion, and hands-on writing to help participants shape their own family narratives.
Schedule & Facilitators
