It gives us great pleasure to announce The 2nd Annual Dominican Writers Conference 2020 will take place May 2 &3, 2020.

The Dominican Writers Conference was created by a group of Dominican women writers in New York who firmly believe that our stories must be told by us. Our goal is to offer emerging/established Dominican writers and the communities that support us with an event that not only celebrates the important works coming out of the diaspora, but also serves to offer opportunities for more Dominican writers to learn how they can break into publishing.

If you work in the Publishing industry as a Literary Agent, Publisher, Editor, Publicist, etc. We would love for you to participate in our conference by providing manuscript critiques, pitch sessions, networking opportunities and anything else you feel will benefit our writers.

As part of the conference we want to offer our writers an opportunity to sign up for a writing workshop. We invite you to submit your 250-word proposal to facilitate an intensive writing workshop and or a panel discussion. Each session should be 45 minutes long. Panel Proposals should include at least one Dominican participant.
