Discover the themes, messages, and questions that are the center of your story telling. Your core story is what drives you to the page. Get in touch with your writing Id. What are the kinds of stories, settings, tropes, archetypes that you love to write and read. What are the kinds of stories that always satisfy you as a reader and as a writer?
In the workshop we will work on coming up with your “writing mission” which will help to approach your storytelling with more clarity and intention.
Discern your strengths as a storyteller. Is research a motivator or a detractor? Are you a plotter or are you a discovery writer? At what stage of the writing process do you do your best work?
