From Structure to Story: Deepening Your Narrative with Eli Villamán
You’ve started your story. Now it’s time to shape it.
This four-part series is designed to help you move from early pages to a stronger, more complete draft. In From Structure to Story: Deepening Your Narrative, writers move beyond the opening and into the heart of their work. This workshop series is designed for those ready to strengthen structure, build momentum, and develop their stories with greater clarity and intention. Through guided writing, craft exploration, and focused feedback, participants will continue developing their short stories, novels, or memoirs while working through the key stages of the narrative arc—from foundation to resolution.
May 14 — The Foundation of the Story
Strengthen your opening by clarifying narrative voice, character desire, and central conflict. Writers will begin shaping a clear direction for their story and establish a foundation that supports the entire narrative.
