✍🏽 Writing Through Memory, Silence, and Truth
Sunday, September 14th, 2025 | 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM EST | Zoom
Memory is never simple. It carries what was said, what was hidden, and what we can’t forget even when we try. Some truths live in silence—between gestures, in unfinished conversations, in what our families left unsaid.
In this workshop, we’ll explore how to write into those silences with honesty and care. Using excerpts from JP Infante’s On the Tip of Your Mother’s Tongue as inspiration, we’ll examine how fragments, sensory detail, and omission can hold as much power as confession.
Through guided prompts, you’ll experiment with shaping your own memories into creative nonfiction that captures not only what happened, but also the emotional truths that linger. This is about writing what haunts you, what you almost said, and what has stayed on the tip of your tongue.
