What happens when you step into a life that is not yours? In this playful and imaginative workshop, writers will explore identity through invented selves, alternate paths, secret versions, and impossible biographies.

Through guided exercises, participants will create bold characters and surprising stories by borrowing lives they never lived. Writers will invent alternate versions of themselves, build characters from unreal biographies, and follow "what if" paths into unexpected territory. The further the life from the familiar, the fresher the story.

By the end of the session, transformation becomes a tool, and every invented self opens a new door into original storytelling.

Facilitator: Eli Villamán is a multidisciplinary writer and educator whose work blends literature, visual arts, and storytelling.
