Animals carry instincts, fears, desires, survival strategies, and unique ways of moving through the world. In this workshop, writers will use animal traits as a doorway into character creation, emotional exploration, and storytelling.
Through guided exercises, participants will discover how different animals can reveal hidden aspects of their characters, shape conflicts, and inspire unexpected narrative choices. Writers will explore how instinct influences behavior, how symbolism deepens meaning, and how the natural world can mirror the human experience.
By the end of the session, writers will transform animal energy into vivid characters, powerful metaphors, and fresh story ideas.
