Details:
Many writers do not stop because they lack skill or commitment. They stop when the work begins to feel risky. This workshop offers writers clear language and grounded ways of thinking to make deliberate choices about truth, timing, and scope—choices that allow both the writer and the work to survive.
Facilitator: Jani Decena-White is a Dominican–Puerto Rican educator and facilitator whose work centers voice, authorship, and the cost of silence. She supports writers navigating cultural loyalty, family secrecy, and visibility, helping them stay with their work without self-erasure. Her approach emphasizes discernment, dignity, and authorship that survives truth-telling.
